Shipping Policy

At Optimist About Fancy Dress, we offer a variety of shipping options to our customers in the United Kingdom. Our shipping rates are reasonable, and we use quality packaging to ensure that your purchase arrives in excellent condition. We understand that shipping costs can add up quickly, so we offer free shipping on orders over a certain amount. If you have any questions about our shipping methods or rates, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Order are only confirmed once the item has been dispatched.

Any orders received before 5pm are dispatched on the same day (Monday to Friday).

We use a mixture of Royal Mail and Yodel to delivery items to you. You are also welcome to collect your item from our office in Brislington, Bristol - This is by appointment only at an agree time. We are also happy to use other delivery services of your liking, if available to us, however there is an additional cost, please contact us to discuss. The services we use mean delivery is usually made within 2-4 days, we do offer options to upgrade delivery for an additional fee, including next-day delivery for some orders received before 5pm, you must contact us to confirm this, before purchasing.

We constantly review the type of packaging and additional material used to deliver your items. We are currently in the process of reducing the amount of material (such as bubble wrap) we use, we also are reusing packaging material we have, so your order may arrive in Branded eBay boxes or bags, or old Amazon Boxes. None of this should impact of the delivery of your item, however if it does ensure you take pictures, and see 'below Return / Exchange policy' for details.

Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Optimist About Fancy Dress. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, we offer a hassle-free return and exchange policy. Simply contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to initiate the process. We will provide you with a return shipping label, and once we receive your item, we will issue a refund or exchange, depending on your preference. Please note that some items, such as masks, makeup, and wigs, cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

We always want you to be happy with your purchase.

When your items arrives and you wish to return it, just let us know to expect it back and provide any tracking details you have. You must return the item within 28 days from the day it was delivered. The item must be in the same condition as it arrived in, including any tags still attached; We will check that the item has been returned in the same condition and refund the money (this excludes any upgraded delivery you may have purchased to top of the item)

Unfortunately sometimes, albeit very rarely, an item arrives damaged or is not what you had ordered. Please contact us and provide any images of the item, we will then provide a return label for you to send the item back. We may decide to either replace the item or refund the money, this will be our decision depending on many factors.
